Delivery and return policies

1. DELIVERY PROCEDURE

1.1. The order is accepted for processing only after full payment of the order.

1.2. Please indicate the delivery address as accurately as possible in the fields provided for this purpose. Please do not forget to provide the courier with important information (door code, office number, etc.). An incorrectly specified address may extend the delivery period.

1.3. When filling in the delivery address, it is necessary to indicate a phone number by which the courier can contact the delivery recipients. An incorrectly specified phone number may extend the delivery period.

1.4. Orders accepted on business days from 00:00 to 15:00 are processed and handed over to the courier for delivery on the same day.

1.5. Orders accepted on business days after 15:00 are processed on the same day and handed over to the courier for delivery on the next business day.

1.6. If the order is placed on Saturday or Sunday, it will be processed and handed over to the courier for delivery on the next business day.

1.7. At the time of delivery, the courier has the right to ask to present an identification document (passport or ID card) to confirm the identity of the recipient of the order.

2. DELIVERY TERMS AND FEES

2.1. All orders from the GRENARDI online store are delivered free of charge.

2.2. The scheduled delivery of the order takes place within 2 (two) business days after payment for the order, but depends on the selected delivery method.

2.3. All GRENARDI goods are insured, and you do not have to worry about the safety of delivery or other risks.

3. RETURN OF GOODS AND REFUND

3.1. When concluding a distance contract, i.e. When making a purchase in the GRENARDI online store, you can exercise your right of withdrawal and unilaterally withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods. The right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities.

3.2. You have the right to try the relevant product during the exercise of the right of withdrawal to make sure that it meets your needs and wishes, without removing or damaging the price and sample marks. Remember that during the period of exercise of the right of withdrawal, you have the right to use the product to the extent necessary to test the product (exactly to the extent that it could be done before purchasing the product on site in the store).

3.3. If the product was purchased as part of a special promotion (example: buy 1 product, get the second one free; buy 2 products, get the second one at a discount), the buyer is obliged to return the purchase in the same volume (set) in which it was purchased. If several products were purchased during the promotion, then the buyer is obliged to return all products purchased in this purchase.

3.4. The withdrawal period begins as follows: if an ordered product - from the day the product is delivered; if several products are ordered in one order, which are delivered separately, - from the day the last ordered product is delivered; if a product consisting of several lots or parts is delivered, - from the day the last lot or part of the ordered product is delivered.

3.5. The return application is accepted from the moment the return form is filled out, for which you receive confirmation by the specified e-mail.

3.6. ​The product can be returned within 14 (fourteen) days to all GRENADI stores, or by sending the product by mail (SIA “Grenardi Latvia”, Dēļu iela 2, Rīga, LV-1004, Latvia) together with the purchase documents and packaging received at the time of delivery. GRENARDI does not cover the postal costs of returning the product.

3.7. If we have not received the goods you have refused within 14 (fourteen) days of the withdrawal application, the withdrawal application is cancelled.

3.8. When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the use of the goods that exceeds the purpose of testing the goods, for such use of the goods during the period of exercise of the right of withdrawal that is incompatible with the principle of good faith, as well as for the decrease in the value, quality and safety of the goods.

3.9. If you exercise the right of withdrawal, the online store GRENARDI is obliged to refund the money to the same bank account from which the payment for the relevant goods was made as early as possible, but no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the day we have received the returned goods and verified their quality.

3.10. According to Article 15.3 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia Regulation No. 207, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for goods: - The price of which depends on fluctuations in the financial market, which the seller cannot control and which may occur during the period of the right of withdrawal; - is made according to the consumer's instructions or the goods are clearly personalized;

3.11. In case of return of the order, the delivery fee of the order will not be refunded.

4. RULES FOR USE AND CARE OF JEWELRY

4.1. Jewelry must be removed in all cases where it is possible to damage it mechanically, thermally or chemically, including: when cleaning rooms, washing dishes or performing other household chores; when washing hands, taking a shower or bath; using cosmetic, perfume or pharmaceutical products; when going to bed; when playing sports; when visiting a sauna, solarium or bathhouse; when sunbathing and swimming.

4.2. We warn:

4.2.1. wearing blown jewelry under tight or heavy clothing may cause its deformation;

4.2.2. wearing heavy, large pendants on blown and snake-shaped chains may cause them to change shape or break;

4.2.3. wearing several pieces of jewelry close together may cause mechanical damage or scratches;

4.2.4. cleaning jewelry with toothpaste, sand or other abrasive materials may cause their wear;

4.2.5. unintentionally or intentionally causing mechanical damage to the surface (scratches, dents, deformations, etc.), exposing  the product to the effects of chemicals or polishing (if the product has a matte, oxidized surface or rhodium coating), wear of the decorative surface is possible;

4.2.6. wearing jewelry with rubber, leather, silicone, enamel or metal ceramics and going to a bathhouse, sauna or solarium with them, chemical and thermal damage is possible.

4.3. When choosing jewelry with natural stones, it is important to:

4.3.1. store them in closed boxes to protect them from direct sunlight, as many of these stones can lose their characteristic shade under the influence of light;

4.3.2. avoid mechanical damage to the fasteners of the claw-shaped stones, because when the claw is caught or unfolded, the stone can move and fall out;

4.3.3. clean products with natural stones, pearls and corals only at a jeweler. It should be remembered that the conditions under which jewelry is worn and stored affect its longevity, for example, aging is accelerated by drying and mechanical damage, while sudden changes in temperature can cause cracks to appear in them.

4.4. Jewelry care

4.4.1. We recommend that you entrust cleaning and polishing to a jeweler from the service of SIA “Grenardi”.

4.4.2. Daily maintenance can be carried out:

4.4.2.1. with special products and wipes for the care of gold, silver, pearls and precious stones, available in GRENARDI stores;

4.4.2.2. gold jewelry (except for products with natural stones, pearls, corals and metal-ceramic compounds) - by keeping them in 4.4.2.3. warm soapy water for several hours with a few drops of rubbing alcohol added, then rinsing them under running water;

4.4.2.4. silver jewelry (except for products with natural stones, pearls, corals and cermets) – by rinsing in warm baking soda and then polishing them with a wool or flannel cloth.

5. WARRANTY TERMS

5.1. Complaints about the quality of the goods are considered only upon presentation of the purchase document.

5.2. The term for filing claims about the quality of the jewelry is 2 years from the date of purchase of the goods.

5.3. The warranty period for branded jewelry is determined by its manufacturer, but it is not less than 2 years from the date of purchase of the goods.

5.4. Jewelry with precious stones and products that have been resized are not changed, except in cases where a hidden manufacturing defect is detected that cannot be eliminated by repairing them.

5.5. Rhodium-plated and gold-plated jewelry may experience natural wear and tear, which is not considered a defect and is not covered by the product warranty terms.

5.6. Warranty repairs of jewelry are performed by a service jeweler of SIA “Grenardi Latvia”.

5.7. Warranty repairs of branded products are performed by their manufacturer.

5.8. Warranty repairs are not performed if:

5.8.1. the product is arbitrarily damaged;

5.8.2. the warranty, use and care rules of the jewelry have not been followed;

5.8.3. the jewelry has been repaired or its original design has been changed by another craftsman who is not a service jeweler of SIA “Grenardi Latvia”.
